The Department of Music at Furman University has released its vibrant lineup of performances and events for the upcoming spring semester. January kicks off with an array of faculty-led performances and conferences. A notable highlight is the Furman Church Music Conference, which welcomes guest clinician Joseph Martin. The month also features piano and trumpet recitals by esteemed faculty members David Gross and Buddy Deshler. Additionally, a special tribute concert honoring Dr. Gary Malvern’s retirement showcases the talent of the university's trumpet studio.
